* WHAT...Snow expected Above 8000 ft. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains, Southwest San Juan Mountains, and West Elk and Sawatch Mountains.

* WHEN...From midnight Thursday Night to 6 PM MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WEST ELK AND SAWATCH MOUNTAINS ... NORTHWESTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ... SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
