JAC 5K Color Run tomorrow morning at 8:30am. Expect Delays. Avoid the area if possible. Click link 
On Saturday April 26, 2025 Jefferson Attendance Center will be sponsoring a Color Run, in partnership with Huck’s, to benefit students at Carmi White County’s Jefferson Attendance Center. The Color Run will begin at approximately 8:30 am and will affect the following streets: Sycamore Street from 4th St to County Road 1000 East and all intersecting streets, Stewart Street from Illinois to 1000 East and all intersecting streets.
As part of the JAC Color Run there will be Color Stations set up along the run route.
All streets intersecting the run route will be blocked beginning at 8:30 am until such time as it is safe to allow normal vehicular traffic to resume.
All intersections will be manned with Carmi Police Officers, Carmi Police Auxiliary Officers, and JAC Volunteers who will assist in ensuring safety during this event. The public is encouraged to be aware of this temporary restriction of streets intersecting the run route and to adjust travel plans accordingly.
