Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station, the City of La Cañada Flintridge, and the Sheriff's Department Vehicle Theft Taskforce invite residents to attend our Catalytic Converter Etching and Catch Event on Saturday, May 3rd, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at La Cañada High School, 4463 Oak Grove Dr, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011. The event will take place on the south side of the school's front parking lot.

This event is part of a multifaceted strategy the Department has implemented to combat catalytic converter thefts occurring across Los Angeles County.

All participants will have their catalytic converters etched with a unique identifying number. This etching serves as a theft deterrent and provides valuable information to law enforcement in the event the part is stolen and later recovered during an investigation.
