INCIDENT: PC 29800(A)1 Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
LOCATION: 200 CA-62, Vidal, CA
SUSPECT(S): Shannon Lewis, 37-years-old, resident of Casa Grande, AZ
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, April 17, 2025, at approximately 1:26 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Colorado River Station contacted Shannon Lewis for reports of unconscious male in a vehicle. Through investigation, it was determined Lewis had a firearm in his possession, and was in violation of PC 29800(A)1 - Felon in possession of a firearm.
Lewis was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Lewis was later transported to High Desert Detention Center, where he remains in custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on $50,000 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
