The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Red Flag Warning for strong gusty winds and low humidity, which is in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening.
* Timing...until 8 PM tonight.
* Winds...Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* Relative Humidity...As low as 22 percent.
* Temperatures...Up to 86.
* Lightning...None.
* Impacts...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: GREENUP ... CARTER ... BOYD ... LAWRENCE
