Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 04/18/2025 at approximately 1300 hours deputies from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the interception of M 60 and M 40, Newberg Township, Cass County Michigan. 
 
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Corey Chapman Jr (24 yo from Sunfield, MI) was southbound at the intersection of M 40 and M 60. Another vehicle driven by Darlene Tucker (64 yo from Three Rivers, MI) was eastbound at the intersection of M 40 and M 60. both vehicle entered into the intersection at the same time causing both Chapman Jr and Tuckers vehicle to crash into each other. Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection.
 
Chapman ‘s Passenger, Jakob Greenman (23 YO from Sunfield, MI) was transported by Newberg Ambulance to Three Rivers Hospital for injuries sustained in the traffic crash. 
 
Assisting agencies on scene were Newberg Fire and Newberg ambulance.
 
All parties wore Seatbelts at the time of the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
