Street Sweeping Update - Friday, April 18th 

The City is aware of concerns regarding the quality of this week’s street sweeping. Although the contractor has been in town for several days, progress has been slower than expected, and the areas that have been completed do not meet our standards.

To remedy the issue at no added cost to the city, the City’s street sweeping vendor will restart the sweeping process on Monday, April 21st, weather permitting. We are working closely with the contractor to ensure the job is completed properly.

Check the City's website at www.GardenCityMI.org/Street and City's Facebook page throughout the week for schedule updates. Street sweeping will follow trash pick-up by one day, weather permitting.  

Garden City has 100 miles of roads, so the contractor's schedule will be affected by the weather. Signs will be posted in your neighborhood when your streets are to be swept.
