Evacuation Order Lifted for Wild Acres Rd. in McDowell County
McDowell County, NC — McDowell County Emergency Management has lifted the evacuation order for residents along Wild Acres Rd. following ongoing efforts to contain the Bee Rock Creek Fire. After careful coordination and evaluation of current fire behavior and containment progress, it has been determined that the area is now safe for residents to return. This includees Wild Acres Retreat.
Officials urge returning residents to remain cautious and aware of any ongoing firefighting activity in the area. Smoke and emergency vehicles may still be present.
Emergency crews will continue to monitor the area closely to ensure public safety.
