ESCONDIDO, California – A 16-year-old Escondido boy died Sunday morning when he crashed his motorcycle on Bear Valley Pkwy near Canyon Road.
            The boy, whose identity is not being released at this time, was riding north with another juvenile motorcyclist when he struck the right curb and lost control. Witnesses stopped to attempt aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol or drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
            Both directions of Bear Valley Parkway remained closed for several hours while police investigated and documented the scene.

Joven de 16 años muere en accidente de motocicleta en solitario

              ESCONDIDO, California – Un joven de 16 años de Escondido murió el domingo por la mañana cuando estrelló su motocicleta en Bear Valley Pkwy, cerca de Canyon Road.
              El niño, cuya identidad no ha sido revelada en este momento, conducía hacia el norte con otro motociclista juvenil cuando golpeó el bordillo derecho y perdió el control. Los testigos se detuvieron para intentar ayudar, pero fue declarado muerto en el lugar. El alcohol o las drogas no parecieron ser un factor en el accidente.
              Ambas direcciones de Bear Valley Parkway permanecieron cerradas durante varias horas mientras la policía investigaba y documentaba la escena.
