* At 354 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Lincoln to 10 miles northwest of Buffalo to 6 miles northwest of Roberson Hollow, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include... Competition, Osage Beach, Pittsburg, Florence, Tunas, Pumpkin Center, Sleeper, Freedom, Fristoe, Tuscumbia, Old Linn Creek, Barnumton, Linn Creek, Syracuse, Decaturville, Lake of The Ozarks State Park, Goodson, Plad, Long Lane, and Lincoln. This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 110 and 144.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. If on or near Lake of the Ozarks and Truman Lake, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm.
