1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1537) Nightingale Ave and Maribess Street, Park District
The four male victims were standing in the driveway of a home in the listed area when the suspects arrived. They got into an altercation, and the suspects shot at the victims as they drove away. No one was injured. SUSPECTS: Three Black males and an unknown-race male.
2. Negligent Discharge of a Firearm (1654) 1800 Block of East Harding Way, Park District
Officers were in the listed area when they heard several gunshots. They contacted the suspect, who had fired his gun into the air while in the backyard. ARRESTED: Javier Valencia, 43, for negligent discharge of a firearm and child endangerment.
3. Shooting into a Dwelling (2150) 1000 Block of Doray Court, Civic District
The female victims, 49 and 16, were inside their residence when it was struck by gunfire. Both victims were uninjured. There is no suspect information.
4. Weapons Arrest (2258) West Lane and Swain Road, Valley Oak District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle near the listed location. Officers searched the vehicle and located a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Donovan Phongsavath, 19, and two 17-year-old male juveniles for weapons charges.
