Road Closure - Elenda Street - Tuesday, April 22
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Elenda Street from Culver Boulevard to Farragut Drive will be closed to cars for a car-free school commute in celebration of Earth Day.
Parents who need to drive are encouraged to use side streets as alternatives, drop their kids off a few blocks from the school, or use transit and avoid driving in this area altogether. Residents needing to use their cars that morning are encouraged to park outside the event zone the night before.
Students who travel to school on transit using GoPass will still be able to ride - all CCUSD students ride transit for free every day.
Parents are encouraged to park and walk with their students three blocks from their campus, or drop their students off along Huron, Coombs, the parking lot at Culver/Elenda, or at the pedestrian bridge, North of Ballona Creek.
For questions or media inquiries regarding road closures, please contact Culver City Police Department Public Information Officer Jennifer Atenza at (310) 253-6120 or email [email protected].
