There is a voluntary evacuation in effect for the following sections of Barnegat Township: Windward, Mirage, Pheasant Run, Heritage Point North, Brookville and all houses on West Bay Avenue in those areas. This is out of precaution due to the current varying wind conditions. A shelter has been set up at the United Methodist Church on Bryant Road in Waretown for any residents who need.
