Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on April 22, 2025 at approximately 1143 hours Deputies from the Cass county Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of M 60 and Corey Lake Rd., Three Rivers, Newberg Township, Cass County, Michigan.

The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Jocelyn Holdeman (21 yo from Jones, MI) was southbound on Corey Lake Rd.  Another vehicle driven by Sue McDowell (63 yo from Jones, MI) was eastbound on M 60 approaching Corey Lake Rd. Holderman failed to yield the right away to the vehicle being driven by McDowell and crashed into McDowell's vehicle.
 
McDowell was transported by Newberg Ambulance to Three Rivers Hospital for injuries sustained in the traffic crash. All parties wore Seat belts at the time of the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.
