Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting West Feliciana, East Baton Rouge and Pointe Coupee Parishes. Mississippi River At Reserve affecting St. John The Baptist, St. Charles and St. James Parishes. For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing, Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville, Reserve...Major flooding is forecast.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Slow-bell procedures will be enacted for river transportation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Thursday afternoon to a crest of 23.5 feet Thursday, May 01.
