Activity for April 22, 2025: Officers responded to 69 calls for service, made 4 arrests, and 13 traffic stops.
Activity for April 22, 2025:
- Officer Reynaga and Officer Smith responded to the 1200 block of Laurel Lane for a disorderly subject. A 23-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Bean conducted a traffic stop at Merriman Street and Barberry Drive. A 20-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Sergeant Ganzhorn conducted a traffic stop near Cooper Street and Porter Street, and the vehicle fled. The driver has been identified. Charges will be sought on the 36-year-old male driver for fleeing and eluding.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Detectives made contact with a subject in the 200 block of East Washington Avenue. A 27-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officer Justice and CIT Clinician Winans assisted Blackman Township officers with a personal welfare check in the 800 block of North Brown Street. A 27-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Reasoner was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of South Forbes Street. A 19-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers responded to the 1000 block of Cypress Drive for one shot fired. A raccoon charged at a person and began attacking their pet, so the resident fired 1 round at the raccoon to scare it away. The firearm is properly registered and legally owned.
