On Saturday, April 26, 2025, the City of Mill Valley will be holding a large-scale evacuation drill. If you are looking for more information about the Drill and the Public Safety Fair, please click here.

Due to the Drill, there will be traffic impacts on the morning of Saturday April 26^th at numerous locations listed below. If you have any obligations such as an appointment, airline departure, airport pick-up, your child’s sporting event, or your own sporting event you need to plan ahead!

• 400 Block of Sycamore Avenue & Mill Valley Middle School – Will be CLOSED to all traffic between Camino Alto and Bay Front Park from 6:00am – 9:30am.

 

• Miller Avenue – Will be CLOSED to outbound traffic between Millwood and Camino Alto from 8:30am – 9:30am.

 

• Camino Alto – Will be CLOSED to all lanes of traffic between E. Blithedale Ave and Miller Ave from 8:30am – 9:30am

 

• E. Blithedale – Will be OPEN, with lane reduction, heading out of town from 8:30am – 10:00am.

There will be heavy traffic impacts between 8:30am and 9:30am in the neighborhoods of Homestead Valley and Edgewood on streets such as Reed, Evergreen, Montford, Molino, and Ethel.

We anticipate opening all roadways by 10am.
