Woman Arrested after Pushing Retail Store Employees During a Robbery

INCIDENT: PC 211 – Strong Arm Robbery
LOCATION: Target, 20288 State Highway 18, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Amanda Lynn Bilbao, Age 39, Resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, deputies with Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to Target for a shoplifting call at Target located on State Highway 18.
Deputies S. Lawlor and J. Chapdelaine responded to the store and learned the suspect, identified as Amanda Lynn Bilbao, had entered Target and was seen on video surveillance concealing items in her purse. As Bilbao proceeded to the store exit, she was approached by loss prevention personnel. Bilbao was uncooperative and pushed loss prevention employees as she exited the store.
Amanda Lynn Bilbao was arrested and booked into High Desert Detention Center for strong arm robbery and several other warrants.
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the District Attorney’s Office filed felony robbery charges. Bilbao remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail.
