Oakland City woman arrested for disorderly conduct. 
On April 24, 2025, at 6:34 p.m. Deputy Wes Baumgart and Sgt. Loren Barchett were dispatched to the 2000 block of South 1200 East to investigate a dispute between neighbors. Upon arriving, the deputies spoke with both parties and conducted an investigation. During the investigation 44-year-old Heather Broshears of Oakland City became loud and disruptive, inhibiting the Deputies’ investigation. Deputies placed Ms. Broshears into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail, where she was charged with disorderly conduct and public indecency.
Alcohol was a factor in this investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
