1. Weapon Arrest (1536) 600 Block of Searchlight Avenue, Park District
Officers conducted a proactive checkout on subjects in the listed area. Officers searched a suspect's vehicle and located a loaded handgun. ARRESTED: Anthony Sevilla-Garcia, 18, for weapon charges.
2. Carjacking (2245) 500 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 38, was in the parking lot of an area business when the suspects approached, brandished a firearm, and demanded his property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle. SUSPECTS: A White male adult and two Hispanic male adults.
3. Battery on an Officer (2331) Washington Street and Sutter Street, Civic District
Officers contacted the suspect, who was wanted for battery. The suspect pushed officers and fled on foot. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. While being medically treated, the suspect assaulted a paramedic. ARRESTED: Maxwell Green, 35, for battery on an officer, battery, resisting arrest, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
