Mississippi River At Donaldsonville affecting Ascension Parish. Mississippi River At Baton Rouge affecting West Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parishes. Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting Pointe Coupee, East Baton Rouge and West Feliciana Parishes. For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing, Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville, Reserve, New Orleans...Major flooding is forecast.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Slow-bell procedures will be enacted for river transportation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.5 feet Thursday evening.
