Missing in the Ojai Valley
Missing in the Ojai Valley is a public event hosted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office in the city of Ojai. The public event will be held on Saturday April 26 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. in the Nordhoff High School parking lot, 1401 Maricopa Hwy, Ojai, CA.
This public event is aimed at providing awareness and resources in the continued search for missing people and unidentified people from all around the United States. In 2023 the FBI’s Crime Information Center reported that over 563,000 people were reported missing in the United States with 125,390 potentially leaving voluntarily. Investigators spend countless hours searching for these missing people but sometimes come to a point where information becomes scarce. In some cases, members of the public unknowingly have the answers or clues that can revitalize an investigation. In many cases around the United States, these seemingly insignificant pieces of information have led to the recovery of a missing person or the identification of a previously unknown deceased person. Such information can bring closure to a family or provide long-awaited information to a friend or family.
