Columbia Water Boil Water Advisory

To Columbia Water Customers located at Parkridge Drive:
Columbia Water laboratory staff advises the water customers of Parkridge Drive, located in Lexington
County, to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking. Also, any
residents near the affected area who may have experienced a loss of water and/or pressure, or may be
experiencing discolored water, are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute
prior to drinking or cooking.
Columbia Water has experienced a 8 inch watermain break This could possibly result in bacterial
contamination of the water on Parkridge Drive. Water customers should continue to boil their water
vigorously for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by Columbia
Water laboratory staff. In addition, any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used
for drinking purposes.
Columbia Water staff is presently working to correct the problem.

should be directed to the SC Department of Public Health (DPH) Division of Health Licensing at 545-4370.

Agriculture (SCDA) recommendations. You may reach them at 737-0147. Should you have any questions
