* At 559 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of Broadview, or 34 miles southeast of Tucumcari, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Grady, Broadview, Bellview and Wheatland.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CURRY, NM ... QUAY, NM

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT Friday for a portion of east central New Mexico.
