On April 25, 2025 at approximately 4:38 AM, Patrol Officers responded to a call for service of a victim of a shooting in the 900 block of E. Holt Ave. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and discovered he was unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by LA County Fire personnel.
Due to the circumstances of the incident, Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known.
