ONE INJURED IN TWO-VEHICLE CRASH 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on April 25, 2025 at approximately 1655 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Yankee St. and Huntly Rd., Niles, Howard Township, Cass County, Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Lacie Crocker, (21-year-old of Niles MI) was driving west bound on Yankee St. when a vehicle driven by Thomas Shultz, (69-year-old of Niles MI). failed to yield the right-a-way to Crocker's vehicle. Shultz was attempting to turn left onto Yankee St. from Huntly Rd., when the crash occurred.
Crocker was transported by ambulance to Lakeland Niles Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash. All parties were wearing their seat-belts.
Assisting agencies were Howard Township Fire Dept. and SMCAS Ambulance.
The incident remains under investigation.
