ONE INJURED IN SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on April 25, 2025 at approximately 2147 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Dailey Rd. and Jefferson Center St., Cassopolis, Jefferson Township, Cass County, Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Jessica Waldschmidt ( 30yr old of Dowagiac, MI) was driving north on Dailey Rd., when she failed to navigate a curve and crashed into a tree, causing the vehicle to roll over.
Waldschmidt was transported by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. It is unknown if a seat belt was worn.
Assisting agencies were Central Cass FD and SMCAS Ambulance.
The incident remains under investigation.
