Rio Grande Ave closed today (04/26) from 6AM-12PM for MudHen 5K 
During the morning of Saturday, April 26, 2025, road closures are in place along Rio Grande Avenue for the MudHen IPA 5k. The race, which will start in front of MudHen Brewing Company (127 W Rio Grande Avenue), will take racers east to the boardwalk and then south into Wildwood Crest before looping back and finishing in front of MudHen.
All lanes of Rio Grande Avenue east of Park Boulevard are closed for the race. This closure will affect northbound and southbound traffic on Arctic Avenue, New Jersey Avenue, Pacific Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, and Ocean Avenue. All vehicular traffic attempting to traverse north or south of Rio Grande Avenue should utilize Park Boulevard during the closure. Rio Grande Avenue is scheduled to reopen at approximately 12:00 PM.
Road closures will be marked with the use of barricades, marked patrol vehicles, uniformed officers, and signs.
Please use caution if traveling in the area of Rio Grande Avenue tomorrow morning due to the change in traffic patterns.
