1. Pursuit Arrest (1750) El Dorado Street and Walnut Street, Civic District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle when the driver failed to yield, leading officers in a
pursuit. The suspect stopped and was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Luis Galindo
Mendoza, 24, for traffic charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1928) 500 Block of West Sonora Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 38, was in the listed area when the suspect approached, brandished a knife, and stabbed
him. Officers responded, located the suspect, and took him into custody without incident. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Krayton Shields, 32, for assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Vandalism/Resisting Arrest (2251) 2700 Block of Plantation Place, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the area of the call location on a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested the suspect without incident. While booking at the San Joaquin County Jail, the suspect aggressively stood up and attempted to take his property bag from officers. Officers used force to regain control of the suspect. ARRESTED: Marcus Herron, 24, for vandalism and resisting arrest.
4. Shooting into a Dwelling (0006) 200 Block of Goya Drive, Lakeview District
The male victim, 28, and the female victim, 35, were inside their residence when they heard several gunshots. The victims found that the front of their residence had been struck by one bullet. They were not injured. There is no suspect information.
