Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the listed area. The driver fled on foot from the vehicle. Officers used force to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Pablo Arcos-Cruz, 36, for driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
2. Person Shot (0322) 1300 Block of South Grant Street, Park District
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near the listed area. On arrival, they located the male victim, 28, with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
