UPDATED PRESS RELEASE OF FATAL CRASH 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 04/26/2025 at approximately 0800 hours, Deputies of the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash, in the area of Mud Lake St and Penn Rd, Cassopolis, Penn Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by David Dussel (71 year-old of, Cassopolis, MI) was eastbound on Mud Lake St when his vehicle left the roadway and stuck a tree, overturning the vehicle. Deputies and fire personal attempted life saving measures, but the Dussel was pronounced deceased on scene.
David Dussel was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Assisting agencies were SMCAS Ambulance and Penn Fire Dept.
This crash remains under investigation
