* At 309 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Comfrey, or 30 miles southwest of New Ulm, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... New Ulm, St. James, Sleepy Eye, Springfield, Butterfield, Hanska, Comfrey, Darfur, La Salle, Evan, Cobden, Sveadahl, Essig, New Ulm Airport, Flandrau State Park and Searles.
