Eastpointe residents please be alert to a phone scam that is currently occurring in our area.  Do NOT give out financial information, health insurance information, your address, date of birth or social security number to anyone over the phone.  Also, there is no legitimate business that will ask a resident to purchase and send Bitcoin or to purchase and read the numbers to them off of gift cards that you have purchased.  Several residents are reporting receiving these phone calls, they are a SCAM.  Please be alert!
