LOCATION: 14700 Block of Seneca Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Tyshon Aaron Williams, 32-years-old, Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Jermaine Trotter, 53-years-old, Resident of Apple Valley

As the investigation continued, Homicide investigators identified the suspect as Tyshon Aaron Williams. Detectives interviewed multiple witnesses and learned there was a physical fight between acquaintances of both Williams and Trotter inside the residence when the shooting occurred.
On April 24, 2025, Williams was contacted and arrested for possession of a firearm and a parole violation.
This investigation will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review.

SUMMARY:
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, deputies responded to an apartment complex on Seneca Road for an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived, they found the victim, Jermaine Trotter, in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Trotter was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
On Sunday, April 22, 2025, Trotter died of his injuries and the Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail, assumed the investigation.
