SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEASTERN CARTER COUNTY UNTIL 11:30 PM 4/29/2025. 

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Love County in southern Oklahoma...
  Southeastern Carter County in southern Oklahoma...

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 1042 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Leon, moving
  northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ardmore, Lone Grove, Dickson, Springer, Leon, Overbrook, Rubottom,
  Lake Murray, Burneyville, and Courtney.

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect for the warned area.
