Flood Advisory until 10:00AM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Fisher, Jones, Nolan and Taylor.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 756 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sweetwater, Merkel, Tye, Hawley, Trent, Lake Sweetwater, Stith, Hodges and Camp Boothe Oaks. - This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 242 and 276. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... IH 20 frontage roads crossing Plum Creek, IH 20 frontage roads crossing Bitter Creek, IH 20 frontage roads crossing Towd Creek, IH 20 frontage roads crossing Sweetwater Creek, FM 2035 crossing Bitter Creek, County Road 143 crossing Idlewild Creek, County Road 221 crossing Little Stink Creek, County Road 108 crossing Kldoogan Creek, crossings along County Road 226 and CO Rd. 444 crossing Noodle Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
