Green Bay Police Arrest Suspect Following Reported Disturbance on City’s East Side

The Green Bay Police Department has arrested a 39-year-old Green Bay man following a reported physical disturbance with another person at a residence on the City’s east side.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Doty Street just before 7:45 a.m. to make contact with the suspect and learned that they fled on foot, possibly with a handgun. 

The victim of the disturbance sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was taken into custody just before 10:30 a.m. without further incident.

GBPD SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Team were on scene to assist in a peaceful surrender.

A temporary shelter-in-place order has been lifted, and Doty Street has been reopened.

No further details are currently planned for release.
