The Green Bay Police Department’s investigation into the death of an adult female, whose body was recently recovered from the East River does not indicate foul play as a cause.
Police spoke with the next-of-kin and can release that person is Arlene Cooper (Micoley), 26, of Green Bay.
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, police were dispatched just after 4:45 p.m. to an area near the 500 block of Eastman Avenue following the report of a passerby who found a body in the water. The body was removed from the water around 5:15 p.m.
Green Bay Metro Fire assisted police on scene.
