Incident #: 2025-7974 – DWI
Date/Time: April 1, 2025 at 12:34 AM
Location: 700 Alexander Road, West Windsor, NJ
Reporting Officer: Ptl. Jake Rankin #124
Arrested: Guadalupe Gomez Lopez – West Windsor, NJ
Details: Patrol responded to a report of a vehicle parked in the lane of travel with its flashers activated. Upon arrival, officers located a green Toyota Avalon with Guadalupe Gomez Lopez unconscious in the driver’s seat. After waking Lopez, officers observed signs of impairment. Through investigative means, Lopez was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Field sobriety tests were conducted and he was ultimately placed under arrest for DWI.

Details: Patrol responded to a report of an attempted theft from a vehicle. Witnesses observed a Hispanic male attempting to steal a purse from a parked car. The suspect handed the purse back after being confronted and fled through the parking lot. Surveillance footage captured the suspect fleeing the scene on foot, where he ultimately entered a black Dodge Durango bearing a California temporary plate.

Location: Heritage Boulevard (Canal Pointe), West Windsor, NJ

Details: Patrol met with a Canal Pointe maintenance employee who reported the theft of work tools from an unlocked work van parked near a dumpster. The theft occurred while the employee was working inside a residence. DeWalt tools and batteries were reported stolen.

Arrested: Christopher R. Randall – Trenton, NJ
Details: Patrol responded to Target for a shoplifting complaint. Loss prevention reported that Randall entered the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise from other stores, added Target items, and exited without payment. Randall was arrested for shoplifting. A search revealed additional stolen merchandise from other stores, which was returned where possible.

Charged: Abdelilah Amarti – Ewing, NJ
Details: Patrol responded to Best Buy for a past-tense shoplifting. Through investigative means, Abdelilah Amarti was identified as the suspect who attempted to return a monitor without proof of purchase and then stole it by exiting the store without payment. Amarti was charged with third-degree shoplifting via complaint-summons.

Details: Patrol responded to Lowe’s for a past-tense shoplifting report. Two suspects, a male and a female, were seen stealing roofing underlayment products and fleeing in a blue Toyota Highlander.

Details: Patrol responded to a past-tense shoplifting at Dollar Tree. An unknown male suspect stole numerous items and loaded them into a black Ford F150. The suspect fled the scene despite store counter-measures.
