1. Battery/Resisting Arrest (1005) 700 Block of East Swain Road, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a report of a battery at the listed location. Upon arrival, the officers attempted to detain the suspect, but he pulled away and resisted. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. An officer sustained minor injuries during the struggle. ARRESTED: Tony McPherson, 43, for battery, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer.
2. Weapon Arrest (1256) 3400 Block of Mourfield Avenue, Seaport District
Officers assisted a local law enforcement agency with probation compliance searches, and while at a residence near the listed location, the suspect was in the vicinity of where a shotgun, ammunition, and a firearm magazine were located. ARRESTED: A 17-year-old male juvenile for weapon and probation violation charges.
3. Robbery Arrest (1308) 1100 Block of South Pilgrim Street, Park District
The female victim, 29, was in the listed area when the suspect pointed a handgun in her direction. He then fled and was located at an area business as he was attempting to commit a robbery. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and was found in possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: Jose Pablo, 23, for assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and weapon charges.
