Wilmington Police have arrested a Philadelphia man on a gun charge.
On April 30, at approximately 9:28 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division conducted a vehicle stop on the 600 block of North Adams Street. Police made contact with the driver – 31-year-old Banford Poole of Philadelphia, PA. Following a brief investigation, police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun, and took Poole into custody without incident.
Poole has been charged with the following offense in addition to traffic violations:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
