Police and Fire training exercise on the 700 block of Potter Street from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. 
Community Advisory: Emergency Training Exercise on the 700 block of Potter Street
Today (Friday, May 2) from approx. 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., local police, fire, and EMS agencies will conduct a planned emergency exercise at a Lawrence Berkeley National Lab building on the 700 block of Potter Street in Berkeley. The training will simulate an active threat scenario to help first responders practice coordinated response procedures.
Agencies involved include Berkeley PD, Berkeley Fire, Alameda County Fire, Albany Fire, and UC Police.
There is no danger to the public and community members in the area should not be alarmed by the presence of emergency vehicles or personnel. This exercise is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and preparedness of our local agencies.
