SUBJECT: Subject Charged with Motor Vehicle Burglary

LOCATION: Allen Avenue in Ocean Township           
 
ACCUSED: Shadi Khorram 42 year old female of Freehold, NJ
 
NARRATIVE:   On May 1^st, 2025 at approximately 6:41 pm officers were dispatched to Allen Avenue in reference to a subject entering several unlocked vehicles that were parked in the area.  Upon the officers’ arrival, they spoke with witnesses who observed the accused entering several different vehicles in the parking lot and then entering a nearby apartment.  The witnesses provided officers with a detailed description of the accused.  While officers were continuing their on scene investigation, the accused exited the apartment and attempted to leave in her vehicle.  The accused was placed under arrest by Ptl. Fanelli and transported to police headquarters.  The accused, now identified as Shadi Khorram, was found to be in possession of several stolen credit cards, drug paraphernalia and narcotics.  Khorram was charged with Motor Vehicle Burglary, Criminal Attempt, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  She was processed and released on a summons pending an initial court appearance.  Anyone who resides in the area of Allen Avenue and believes their vehicle was burglarized yesterday, please contact Detective Zachary Rhein at 732-531-1428.
