Good afternoon, this is Belmar Police Department with an important announcement.
 
This Saturday, May 3rd, the Huntington’s Disease of America will be holding their annual run out of Bar Anticipation on 16^th Avenue.  At the start of the run, 16^th Ave will be shut down from B Street to Railroad Avenue until all runners have turned onto B Street.  The run will continue down B Street, to 19^th Ave, then to Snyder Avenue.  Once on Snyder Avenue, runners will continue to North Blvd. around the lake and back to Main Street, then north through Lake Como.  Road closures will begin at 8:30 am. The race is scheduled to start at 9:00 am and conclude by 11:00 am. 

Please expect some delays during the hours of the race. 17^th   Ave. and Main St. and 18^th Ave. and Main St.will remain open on the East side of Main Street in Lake Como for vehicles to travel North.
