Police Seek Help in Locating Missing Autistic Newark Man
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Ylyjaa Wilson, 21, of Newark, who was reported missing on May 2, 2025.
Wilson, who is reportedly autistic, has run away. He was last seen in the 200 block of Hunterdon Street. He is described as 6’4” tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black and white Nike T-shirt, black pants, and white sneakers. He also has a birthmark in the center of his neck. He is known to frequent the 300 block of Lyons Avenue, near St. Peter’s Recreation Center.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ylyjaa Wilson to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
