At 1009 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Summersville, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sutton, Camden-On-gauley, Birch River, Camden On Gauley, Cowen, Widen, Boggs, Little Birch, Calvin, Muddlety, Upper Glade, and Erbacon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 56 and 61, and near mile marker 65. Route 19 between mile markers 45 and 68.
