1. Battery on an Officer (1603) Clay Street and California Street, Seaport District
Officers were in the listed area conducting a driver under the influence (DUI) investigation when the suspect spat on an officer. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Antonio Rodriguez, 39, for battery on an officer, felony DUI and traffic-related charges.
2. Persons Shot (1640) 8400 Block of Kelley Drive, Bear Creek District
The victim, 22, and the suspect, 22, were at a residence cleaning their firearms when the suspect accidentally shot himself and the victim. Both the victim and suspect were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Charges were referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
3. Narcotics/Resisting Arrest (1650) San Joaquin Street and Lafayette Street, Seaport District
Officers were in the listed area when they observed the suspect discarding narcotics. The suspect fled from the officers, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Dominic Anicas, 26, for resisting arrest, possession of narcotics, and probation violation charges.
4. Weapon Arrest (2248) Sutter Street and Magnolia Street, Civic District
Officers conducted a proactive traffic enforcement stop near the listed location. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located a handgun in the back seat. ARRESTED: Sesar Baker, 24, for traffic and weapon charges.
5. Robbery (0115) Stockton Street and Charter Way, Seaport District
The male victim, 32, was sitting in his vehicle near the listed location when two suspects approached him. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and struck the victim. The suspects stole the victim’s property and fled. SUSPECTS: A Black male adult and a White female adult.
6. Pursuit Arrest (0242) Kentfield Road and Gateway Court, Valley Oak District
Officers attempted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for traffic violations. The vehicle failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. The vehicle became disabled, and two occupants fled on foot. One occupant was arrested in the vehicle, and two were arrested after a short foot pursuit. The vehicle was later found to be an unreported stolen vehicle. ARRESTED: Three juvenile males for possession of a stolen vehicle and evading charges.
