For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing, Baton Rouge, Donaldsonville, Reserve, New Orleans...Major flooding is forecast.

* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Slow-bell procedures will be enacted for river transportation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 23.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.8 feet this evening.
