Multiple Burglary Investigation - North Lehigh Avenue/Edgebrook Road (surrounding area) on 05/05/2025. Surveillance Footage Requested. 
Today, 05/05/2025, at approximately 04:13 hours, Cranford Police units were dispatched to the area of North Lehigh Avenue and Edgebrook Road on the report of an attempted burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon their arrival, a suspect was encountered and a foot pursuit ensued.
During the foot pursuit, officers and witnesses report hearing a gunshot fired. After the gunshot was heard, the suspect fled in a motor vehicle.
Residents who reside in the above-mentioned area are asked to forward any surveillance or doorbell camera footage that may have captured this individual on today's date to [email protected].
The Cranford Police Department's Investigative Bureau is handling this investigation.
