BRIDGE REPAIRING PROJECT TO BEGIN IN HURON TOWNSHIP 
WAYNE COUNTY, MI – Wayne County Department of Public Services has announced a schedule bridge repair project and traffic plan for the Bell Road Bridge over the North Branch Swan Creek, located in Huron Township. The project is expected to last three weeks, beginning on Monday, May 12, 2025, weather permitting.
Monday, May 12, 2025 - Tuesday June 1, 2025, -
• Bell Road will be closed from Waltz Road to Ash Road.
• The detour routes are as follows:
• For Northbound Waltz Road to Bell Road: Continue straight on Waltz Road past Bell Road. Follow northwest-bound Waltz Road to Ash Road. Turn right onto eastbound Ash Road. Follow Ash Road to Bell Road.
• For Westbound Ash Road to Bell Road: Continue on Ash Road past Bell Road. Follow westbound Ash Road to Waltz Road. Turn left onto southeast-bound Waltz Road. Follow Waltz Road to Bell Road.
• Traffic devices will be placed on site to help direct traffic.
Drivers are advised to exercise caution and patience while navigating through construction zones and to expect delays. Thank you for your cooperation.
